Empathy Not Opinion

‘Empathy is not the same as opinion’ is one of the best things I’ve read. Unfortunately, I’m not sure where I originally read it, so that I can credit a source. It was a long time ago and I didn’t make a note. Something I will do better on moving forward. 

I believe it is so important to try and understand how people are feeling and what is driving the decisions they’re making, instead of giving an opinion born from your own experience and feelings. In my experience, a little bit of empathy goes a long way in feeling understood. 

This design is based on my wish to feel more empathy and less opinion from people.
