We had the Serenity Prayer (popular version of) around a lot in our mum’s house growing up. If you haven’t heard of it, it goes like this:

God, grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can and Wisdom to know the difference.

The original prayer was written by Reinhold Niebuhr, but this popular version was adopted in the 1940s and 1960s by a few organisations.

I’m not religious, so for me, I start it at ‘Grant me’, but I think no matter what your belief system the message is invaluable. I keep this in mind often at the moment.

This design takes inspiration from the Serenity Prayer.
