Please Define Fine

Okay, this is one of my biggest irritations. I do not like the word fine being used to describe how someone is. From my point of view, in that context, its meaning is ambiguous and can feel quite confusing.

I believe many of us have been told our children are ‘fine’, only to find out that their needs were not being met. The word fine doesn’t track to an emotion or an actual state of well-being.

This design is an expression of my thoughts on the need for us to define what the word fine actually means when we apply it to people.
