Collection: Low Demand Parenting

Red Digger Purple Dinosaurs ‘Low Demand Parenting #This Is Active Parenting’ Design.

We try and follow a low demand parenting approach with our sons, as our eldest is a PDA’er.

Low demand parenting doesn’t mean that we don’t ask the boys to do things or that we don’t have any boundaries. It means that we try and collaborate with our sons, build on trust and be as flexible as possible around their needs, so the number of demands we make is reduced.

We are learning to consider the language we use too, so that when we need to complete tasks they are not presented as demands.

There have been several times when it has felt like other parents think I don’t know what I’m doing because I’m not following a conventional or traditional approach.

This design is created to communicate that Low Demand Parenting is Active Parenting.
